O’Donnell and Audi México executed a build-to-suit development and construction agreement to finance, develop and build the main logistics infrastructure for the new Audi project located at San Jose Chiapa, Puebla, Mexico.

Puebla, Mexico (January ??, 2015) - O’Donnell, an industrial real estate developer from Mexico, and Audi Mexico executed a definitive agreement for the design and development of five industrial buildings within the Audi Q5 Manufacturing Complex located at San Jose Chiapa, Puebla, Mexico. The construction and development agreement includes: The Just-in-Sequence (JIS) Supplier Park, the In-Plant Logistics Center, and an Intermodal Facility. The details of the project include: 

  • The JIS Supplier Park will include three multi-tenant logistics buildings totaling 947,662 SF (88,040 m2) which will accommodate a total of seven suppliers and two logistics service providers;
  • The In-Plant Logistics Center will total 965,595 SF (89,706 m2) and will support the in-plant logistics operations;  
  • The intermodal facility (Container Yard) will total 656,657 SF (61,005 m2) of land and will support the handling of full load and empties containers.

O’Donnell is a leader in the development of industrial parks and buildings in Mexico with proven experience in building manufacturing and logistics buildings to suit. Audi Mexico selected O’Donnell based on the company’s extensive logistics and automotive supplier facility experience. About the Q5 Manufacturing Plant

With a total invest of US$1.3 Billion Audi is building its most modern and highest (located at 7,874 ft. (2,400 m) above sea level) plant within the Audi production network in Mexico. In 2016 Audi Mexico will start producing the Audi Q5.
